The error is coming because either the remote repository is not existing or the heroku remote is not existing may be some other remote like origin is existing.

Check all remotes

git remote -v

It will give list of all remotes currently active and if remote heorku not existing add it.

Solution

Add heroku remote

git remote add heroku https://git.heroku.com/your_heroku_remote_repo.git

You can also remove your remote using

git remote add heroku https://git.heroku.com/your_heroku_remote_repo.git

This should work fine.

Thanks!!!
